At Bayaan, we take your privacy seriously. We provide this Privacy Policy (this "Policy") to tell you what information we collect about you, how we obtain it, how we share it, and how you may limit the ways in which we use any or all of your information (including transactional), whether it be your personal, financial, or any other information ("Information"). If you purchase Services from us, financial information such as your credit or debit card number, billing address, and payment/purchase history;
Prompts, messages, questions, and other content you submit to the Bayaan chatbot, along with the chatbot's responses to you, which we may retain to operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
Information contained within any files, documents, or other content you upload to or share with Bayaan for the chatbot to process or respond to;
Account credentials and settings, such as your username and preferences;
Social media handles, content, and other data shared with us through third-party features you use with our Site or Services (such as tools, payment services, widgets, or plug-ins); and
Other information that could reasonably be used to identify you personally.

Information That Is Automatically Collected

We retain your Information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Retention periods are based on:

The length of our relationship with you;
The purpose for which the information is used;
Legal or contractual retention requirements; and
The privacy impact of continued retention.

Your Choices about the Information We Collect

Communications preferences - update your contact details or opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. You will still receive transactional messages.
Cookies - manage cookie preferences through your browser or our cookie preference center.
Do Not Track - we currently do not respond to browser DNT signals, as there is no industry-agreed standard for honoring them.

Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at contact@bayaan.ai to request deletion.

International Visitors

If you access Bayaan from outside the United States, your information may be processed on servers located in the United States. Data protection laws there may differ from those in your location, and your information may be subject to lawful access requests in that jurisdiction. We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your Information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You provide information at your own risk.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

Your Rights under the GDPR (EEA/UK Residents)
